Chalet La Pommeraie sits in La Masure – a peaceful, mountain hamlet on the hillside, just 2km from Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise. La Masure has a restaurant and a small grocery shop, while Sainte-Foy offers all the shops and services you might need.
Skiers will love the location, with easy access to three renowned ski areas, including Tignes, Arc 2000 and La Rosière. When the snow melts, the area becomes a paradise for hiking and mountain biking, with countless trails to explore in this stunning region.
And when you return to Chalet La Pommeraie after a busy day in the Alps, you can relax in the sauna or enjoy a drink on the terrace as you take in the stunning views of the Vanoise mountains.
About the property…
Chalet La Pommeraie is a traditional five-storey Alpine chalet that sleeps up to 15 guests, offering seven bedrooms and six bathrooms – perfect for large families or groups of friends.
On the ground floor you’ll find a relaxing sauna, a fully equipped laundry room with washing machine and dryer, ski lockers and plenty of storage space. There’s also a double bedroom on this level, which is accessed by stairs from the first floor.
On the first floor are two more bedrooms. The first sleeps four (max 2 adults) in two sets of bunk beds and a shower room. There’s also a bedroom with two single beds and an en-suite shower room. The TV room is on this floor as well, with sofas, a games console and separate toilets.
On the second floor are three double bedrooms, each with its own shower or bathroom and toilet. The largest of the three also has a desk and a private balcony.
The third floor is dedicated to a stunning open-plan living space, surrounded on three sides by a balcony and terrace. There’s a comfortable seating area with a TV and wood-burning stove, a large dining table and a fully equipped kitchen with a central island. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light, while the terrace is home to a traditional pizza oven – perfect for unforgettable mountain evenings.
The top floor is home to a beautiful master suite with a large double bed, a private balcony and a spacious en-suite bathroom with a shower, bath, toilet, and two washbasins.

Chalet La Pommeraie is in the hamlet of La Masure, just 2km from Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise
Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise, in the Tarentaise Valley, is close to Bourg-Saint-Maurice, Les Arcs, Tignes, and Val d’Isère. Built into the mountainside, the village is made up of preserved Alpine hamlets with a peaceful, authentic atmosphere. Surrounded by forests and alpine pastures, Sainte-Foy offers a natural, unspoilt setting, far from the crowds, yet within easy reach of several major ski destinations.
In winter, its welcoming ski area is known for off-piste skiing and wild landscapes. Just minutes away, several major ski domains open up a lot more choice, including Espace San Bernardo (150km of pistes), Espace Killy (300km) and Paradiski (425km). Alpine skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ski touring, and heli-skiing excursions across the border to Italy create a wide range of experiences for all levels.
During the rest of the year, the snow melts to reveal an unspoilt natural environment. Hiking and biking trails lead to flower-filled alpine meadows, the Clou valley and the Col de Mont on the Italian border. The nearby Isère River is ideal for white-water activities, while high-altitude lakes invite you to slow down and take in the views. Spring and summer in the Tarentaise are all about fresh air, nature, and adventure – from trail-running and mountain biking to climbing, paragliding and discovering the local mountain culture.

The bedrooms are thoughtfully laid out so everyone can find their own space. With dedicated areas for children, cosy double rooms and a private suite with its own balcony, the chalet easily adapts to every type of group.
Most bedrooms have en-suite bath or shower rooms, and some open onto balconies or include a desk, creating peaceful little retreats throughout the home.
The open-plan living area is the real heart of the chalet. Flooded with natural light from large windows, it opens onto a terrace and a balcony with breathtaking views.
In winter, the wood-burning stove creates the perfect cosy atmosphere for long evenings together, while in summer, the terrace with its pizza oven is sure to be the setting for unforgettable shared moments.
And after a day in the mountains, unwind in the sauna, enjoy a movie or a games night in the TV room, which has a games console. The generous storage areas make returning from outdoor activities easy and stress-free.

We are delighted to welcome you to Chalet La Pommeraie, which we designed as a place to share good times with our family and friends.
We fell in love with this very old chalet, which was completely renovated a few years ago, as well as with this hamlet, with its buildings of stone and wood. Above all, we love the freedom it offers our guests to enjoy the mountains in their own way: younger guests can take the shuttle bus to the family-friendly resort of Sainte-Foy to go skiing in the morning; experienced skiers can enjoy some of the most renowned off-piste skiing in the Alps (the Monal descent, the Col du Granier, skiing back to the chalet if conditions allow.
Those who enjoy large ski areas can reach Les Arcs, La Rosière (whose domain extends into Italy), Tignes or Val d'Isère in 10 to 25 minutes; and those who prefer a gentler pace can go hiking, snowshoeing or walking directly from the chalet.
But in the evening you can all get together around the fire or to share a good meal.
The chalet has been designed to accommodate a large family and friends, and we hope you will feel at home here. It offers spacious rooms and a real quality of life for groups.
There's a large open-plan living area with great views of the Tarentaise peaks, two sitting areas where you can socialise or relax on your own, a fully-equipped kitchen with everything you need for raclette, fondue, fresh pasta and even wood-fired pizzas. The spacious bedrooms each have their own bath or shower rooms, you can relax in the sauna after skiing or walking, and there are ski lockers to store your equipment.
